With every example we have shown in the case studies for RV financing, whether it be from the bank or from the dealerships, you can see the obvious difference that a couple of percentage points makes on the overall payments and the overall cost of funding during the duration of the amortization period. As with the purchase of a home on a mortgage, the banks often will allow long-term amortization periods that are similar to the length of amortization periods used for mortgages.
Depending on the State or Province the borrower lives in - meaning depending on the laws that govern the borrower's area - you can sometimes treat your motorhome as your place of residence allowing you to get an RV loan over many years. In some cases 30-year amortization periods! Of course with this kind of RV loan you will be paying for your RV two (sometimes 3) times depending on the mitigating factors involved.
